Dom master 65 ABOUT PAGE.jpg

I have worked in the London bespoke shoe trade for the past 35 years. Initially trained as an orthopaedic shoemaker with James Taylor and Son. I began working as a part-time lecturer at Cordwainers College on the BA course before moving to The Royal College of Art to help establish the MA in Footwear Design. I have worked as a freelance out worker making a wide variety of shoes, from ladies bespoke fashion wear for Georgina Goodman and George Deliss to long riding boots for Terry Moore at Foster’s. Finally, I spent 10 years last and shoe making at George Cleverley travelling extensively throughout the USA.

I opened my own atelier this year in Mayfair, London. I make all the work myself in my workshop in Sussex concentrating on classic English styling and strong traditional last shapes and proportions.
